Pedal, walk, nosh, and sip your way through 300 year’s of Beaufort’s history.
Here’s your chance to nosh, sip, and pedal or walk through “America’s Favorite Town” with Hungry Town Tours. Unlike many food tour companies, they focus on bringing you to a smaller number of restaurants rather than trying to go to seven or eight. You really get to experience our local North Carolina cuisine right here in Carteret County. You’ll soon discover why Beaufort is such a delicious dining destination.
“One of the most fun and unique activities on the Crystal Coast is in Beaufort.
Hungry Town Tours offers food-and wine-focused bike and walking tours around town.”

Hungry Town Tours operates year-round with walking tours offered rain or shine! All culinary stops are within proximity to each other so each tour is a laid-back way to see Beaufort.
Hungry Town Tours prides themselves in working with restaurants that offer fresh, local products that support our local fishermen and farmers. The restaurant partners focus on providing higher quality local ingredients, food with integrity and fresh produce for both seafood and non-seafood diners.
Often, culinary tour customers return to Hungry Town Tours’ partner restaurants for lunch, dinner, or Sunday Brunch on their own. It’s the perfect way to learn about Beaufort’s culinary scene at the start of your vacation. Then, you’ll know where to go for the remainder of your stay! They rotate restaurant partners depending on the day of week, time of year, and type of tour.

A Message from the Owners:
When you call for reservations, you will not speak with someone at a call center. You’ll talk directly with one of the owners. We like to know about your group, if it’s your first time to Beaufort and/or if you are celebrating an event – birthday, anniversary or reunion. It allows us to create a personal experience for you. This is why we do not offer online reservations.
We’re in the hospitality business.
So, we take fun seriously.
If you see a tour that you would like to book but our times don’t quite fit your schedule, we offer the opportunity for you to create your own tour. You pick the day and time. We are open year-round, so we do have flexibility in our scheduling. As a small business, we pride ourselves on accommodating your needs. We’ll work with you to ensure you have an enjoyable schedule. So give us a call at 252-648-1011 for advance reservations or questions from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.. W look forward to creating an experience for you to remember.
