The Dock House Restaurant was established in 1978. The Dock House, as the locals call it, has been serving folks on the beautiful Beaufort waterfront overlooking Taylor’s Creek for over 35 years.
The well-known restaurant is arguably best known for their views than their food. Dine inside or out on their patio overlooking the wild ponies on Carrot Island and the Rachel Carson Reserve across Taylor’s Creek.
The Dock House is a well-known spot for listening to live music in Carteret County. Nightly entertainment takes place from Memorial Day to Labor Day with no cover charge.
During the off-season, there is no menu available at the Dock House. They offer limited appetizers from 4 p.m. until they are gone. These apps change and may range from Meatball Sliders, BBQ, and Beef Tacos. No carry-out available.
