Welcome to Beaufort Restaurant Guide

We can’t say enough about Beaufort as a dining destination! With over 100 independent restaurants in Carteret County, 34 can be found right here in the historic seaport of Beaufort, with just over 4,500 residents. It’s the perfect spot for foodies who want to enjoy all three pillars of great culinary travel in one destination: great food, wine (and beer), and culinary adventures. That’s why we want to set you on the right course so you can enjoy the type of cuisine that you are craving.

Our food & drink blog will provide you with interesting articles and more in-depth information on signature events, restaurants, and off-season promotions. You’ll discover some flavorful dining reviews so you can build your “bucket list” of dining options during your day trip, weekend getaway, or Crystal Coast vacation. If it’s your first visit to Beaufort or a returning getaway, you’ll find these reviews, featured restaurants, and articles interesting and worthwhile.

One thing you’ll discover about this site is that we are big on fresh local seafood. Over 90% of the seafood consumed in the U.S. is imported from other countries around the world. We think that’s just wrong. You’re here on the water in eastern North Carolina. You deserve the best possible experience when you are dining or purchasing seafood at a retail outlet. That’s why an entire section of this site is devoted to fresh local seafood to support our commercial fishermen in Carteret County.

Show support for our local businesses. Be kind. Be respectful. Be patient.

Bon Appétit!
