Finz Grill features fresh local classic Down East seafood, wraps, soups, salads, and more for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is known for their fresh locally caught seafood, blackened fish tacos, massive burgers, famous crab cakes, crisp salads, and delicious appetizers. Think of it as North Carolina comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere.
While dining, you’ll enjoy the view of Taylor’s Creek and the ambiance of this local favorite. You’ll often see dolphins in the creek or horses on Rachel Carson Reserve. Boaters enjoy their floating dock access.
The bar is fully stocked with uniquely made liquor drinks. They offer North Carolina local brewed beer on tap all year round not to mention their ice-cold bottled beers. Finz Grill features a complete selection of signature frozen drinks.
Finz Grill is housed in a building that was once a fuel dock where Menhaden and Shad boats often came for fuel and supplies during Beaufort’s fishing past. Today, everything at Finz is made to order and cooked on the premises from the sauces to original recipes.
Nicholas Sparks could have been referring to Finz Grill in his Beaufort-inspired novel, “The Choice.” He described “a couple of restaurants with gorgeous views: old, homegrown places with local character, complete with covered patios and picnic tables that made customers feel as if they were on vacation in a place where time stood still”. When you’re sitting on the patio at Finz Grill, overlooking the water, time does seem to stand still.
If it looks like Jimmy Buffett has been there, he had.
