The theme of Front Street Grill at Stillwater is “Coastal Food with a Southern Soul.” The dishes are created with humble southern ingredients, such as stone-ground grits, local vegetables, fresh fish, and smoked ham, meets Caribbean spices, creating a superb balance between “Both South’s” – the Carolinas as well as the Caribbean! They strive for originality and diversity, focusing on the quality and freshness of organic and sustainable prime ingredients and local products.
Starters for dinner might include such dishes as crispy calamari with ginger aioli, crab spring rolls with plum sauce, baked oysters and goat cheese salad. Their favorite dinner entree’s focus on fresh seafood and prime choice meats. The lunch menu offers guests large salads, soups, sandwiches, and daily seafood specials. All breads and desserts are baked in house. The restaurant’s location on the Beaufort waterfront offers spectacular views.
There is a limited menu available from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m., for dining with appetizers, soups, salads, and sandwiches.

One of the most favorite is the award-winning Pain Killer (ranges from Level 1 to 5, depending on how much rum you choose. Originating and perfected at the Soggy Dollar Bar in the 1970’s, this smooth, full-flavored rum cocktail has become the essence of Caribbean imbibing at the Rhum Bar. Some people describe the drink as ‘vacation in a glass’ but perhaps you can decide for yourself.
